Description
This handmade Damascus sword blends historical style with modern craft. The blade is forged from multiple layers of high-carbon steels and pattern-welded into a distinctive Damascus finish — no two blades are identical. The forging and heat-treatment process yields a blade with excellent edge-holding potential and a striking, rippling pattern along the surface.
The sword’s full-tang construction provides balance and strength. The guard and pommel are crafted from forged steel and fastened securely; the grip is a hardwood core wrapped tightly in genuine leather for a comfortable, reliable hold. A long, hand-stitched leather sheath is included with a belt loop for display or costume wear.
This piece is intended primarily as a collector’s item, display piece, or for LARP and reenactment. It is finished for safe handling (blunted edge available on request or to comply with shipping restrictions). While the blade is tempered and robust, heavy cutting or structural stress beyond normal display/roleplay use is not recommended.
Each sword is made to order — subtle variations in pattern, hue, and handle grain are part of the handmade charm. We can offer optional engraving, alternate handle materials (antler, different woods), or custom lengths on request. Please check local regulations for blade ownership and transport. A care card with oil and storage instructions is included.
